covered at least every other week.

you need a tool from auto parts store.

i like the plastic one.

spray rust buster on fittings a day before.

do a search for hundreds of hits and tips.

There's really nothin to it!
Two things:

-Buy the proper diconnect tool
-unbolt the bracket from the frame, makes it a bit easier

....... you do have a manual for your truck, right? That book can be a lifesaver, i have two!

I have the tool. I read the manual. It says something about releasing the pressure.
I understand how to take the actual filter off, just not about the before and after stuff.

take fuel relay out, run out of gas.

or

trip fuel shutoff behind right kick panel, run out of gas.

regardless some fuel will be left in system.

having the tool and getting it off is not as easy as it would seem.

search and read old posts first.

good luck.

go slow and put aside enough time to do it and you will be fine.
