E4OD: shallow or deep pan
I'll be changing the ATF in my E4OD soon, and after looking at rockauto, I'm not sure whick filter kit to order. There's a filter kit for shallow pan, and there's a filter kit for deep pan, and this is the first time I've heard of this difference. It's been nearly 100k since the last service, so I figure I'll just change it, anyhow. Does anyone had any experience with any of rockauto's E4OD kits?
Also, is there anything aside from the obvious (i.e. debris in the pan) that I can check, or worth to check; or is there anything else that could be replaced without too much effort while the pan is off?
Car is a '95 Bronco with a 351W, and for the most part, the drivetrain is original.
TIA

The deep pan is found on the 4x4 trucks. I dont know rockautos stuff or part numbers. I think they could steer you in the right direction.
There is nothing to look for in servicing this unit other than the obvious debris in the pan.
You should be fine, just tell them what type of truck you have and they should get you the right stuff.
