High Beam not working, but it's not the bulbs.

2004 F-150 FX4 SC:

When the lever is pushed forward the high beams don't come on but when I pull back and hold the lever the high beams will come on. So, the bulbs work but I guess there is a switch on the lever/column? I tried a search but didn't come up with anything. Anyone know what this could be and how to fix?

Thanks

More than likely the multifunction switch (aka turn signal lever) has gone bad. That would be my first guess.

So is it the turn signal lever itself or another part with a switch in it? Is it something that just unplugs and a new one can plug back in? Expensive?

Thanks
