Mojave Road in Jan

Ive been wanting to spend some time in the desert this winter, so following my suggestion, Outdoor Adventure USA is having a Mojave Road weekend on Jan 9-10-11.

Its an easy-moderate run, stock high clearance trucks should be ok. Come camp out with me. Ill be driving the Expedition so i can lay out my air matress in the back at night. If you wanna come, do me a favor and sign up over on OAUSA and reply in that thread

Watch out for your total number of rigs. Last I heard there was a limit on vehicles and you had to get some kind of permit for it. Not sure but I think there was a limit of 7 vehicles per group. Might give them a call and find out for sure.

Groups of 7 to 15 with a permit fee of $50 According to the other thread. Sounds like a excellent adventure. Unfortunately my finances will not allow it at this time, and my Ranger is not even running . So I will have to sit this one out.

That looks like a nice drive for stock trucks like mine, Dave. But I just can't make it this weekend. Too bad because I love the MDNP.

Well, have fun and share some of your great pics.
