Thinking about trading in for an 2008 f150 4x4 super cab. The local dealer has the following model.

Also looking to trade in a 2008 Ford Escape XLT. 4 cylinder, 2WD, all power, satelite radio and sunroof.

What do you think I should be able to get the truck for? What do you think I should be able to get for trade in?

actually I am not sure about the xlt part on the 150. Are all the 4x4 the FX4?

The site lists 2008 F150 4X4 SS S/C
5.4L FFV V8 ENGINE. What does SS mean?

SS = Style Side, as in not the Flare Side. All FX4 model trucks are 4x4. On XLTs 4x4 is optional. With the Employee Plus pricing you should be able to get a very good price.

 

Should be able to get at least $10,000 off the sticker price. I bought a similar truck a few weeks ago for $23,500, my sticker was 33,500. I think I could have done better if I wasn't so picky about the color. They went to get one from another dealer 100 miles away.

 

Tow package with 3.55 reg axle? No deluxe heated mirrors.I would leave it on the lot but if you want it offer 22k see what happens.

 

I think you'll find the loss your going to take on your Escape makes any deal very ugly.

 

w/o trade you should be able to pick it up for mid to low 20s....i just picked up a 08 stx 4x4 that msrp'ed at 31 and after the rebates it was mid-low20s plus my trade and the discount i get for my grandfather working for ford i got the truck for 13
