Whirling - Rotating Noise when truck is shut down
I have a Job3 6.4L w/ about 5500 miles on it. I also have the Ford remote start which allows me to start/stop the truck outside of it.
Recently, I have noticed a whirling/rotating noise when the truck is shut off. This is more of a lower pitch, rather than higher. It also sounds like something with some mass is rotating. This is easily heard while standing next to the passenger side fender and turning the motor off. It lasts for about 3 - 4 seconds after the engine stops running. It is not the cooling fan, as it stops before the noise stops. It also doesn't sound like the turbo(s), as it seems to come from the front of the engine area.
Any ideas?

This is more like a deep bearing sound if I have the same noise you are talking about. it is definitely something spinning after you turn it off and not a pump that stays on.
