1 ton front springs on 3/4 ton?
I have an 89 F250 and it has a single leaf spring on the front. It is HD and has a 460. I am guessing the front springs have sagged a small bit over the years. If I put a set of front springs from a 1 ton deisel of the same vintage how much would the front end come up? I want to raise the front level with the back which means I only need to come up an inch or two at most.

Your truck should have 2 leaves up front, every 80-97 F250 I've seen has 2. Some diesels have a third.
The one ton springs are not the same, for the most part they are positive arch, and have a short zero rate at the bottom of the leaf pack.
This is an 88 460 powered crew:
Stock springs, with a fair amount of positive arch.
That said, I wouldn't go swapping them into a F250, there is enough difference in the arch to throw the camber a good ways off, and the TTB springs actually have a higher spring rate than the solid axle ones.

Don't mess with the camber.......toss the TTB and put a 60 under it and run the 1 ton springs!!!
Seriously though, lifting an independent front end like the ttb there are a lot of different issues to look at, camber is just one. If you put taller springs in it without the proper compensation (drop brackets for the ttb) your front tires will look like this /--o\, not good for tire wear or handling.
If you want to sit a little higher look into an off the shelf lift kit, it should include all of the necessary bracketry to keep everything where it needs to be.
