This front pulley no. is C37E 6318-6 or as close as I can tell. it is a 292 yblock

The1956 engine is a 1956 F600 272 YBLOCK from the truck I parted out this yr.
the front pulley is very heavy duty and is no. 127707 as far as I can tell.

I am stunned at the difference in these 2 are. thanks guys.....Bill
How many sheaves (pulley grooves) on that F600 1956 balancer?

1964 harmonic balancer ID number: C3TE-6312-G. It's not C37E-6318-6.

ID number: C3TE-6312-G ~ Ford part number: C3TZ-6312-E = 1957/64 trucks.

Thanks N.D.---THE pulley on the 56 f600 engine has 2 grooves--and is extra stout.
I know this will bolt right into my 56f100......the 64 engine is the one I wanted to use. It has the 2100 series 2 barrel and looks to be in better shape. I wonder if the intake and carb can be swapped onto the 56 272?
Anyway--we are getting like 10'' of snow. WHAT A NOVEMBER!!

See Kevin's #14 post.

10" of snow? It's 85 degrees here in LA LA Land.

The last time it snowed here was September 1949!

I remember that cuz mom took a picture of me standing there all bundled up.

That also tells you I ain't no spring chicken.

Apparently this is what my 56 272 yblock is. I looked it up and it is listed as industrial heavy duty. I am going to put this into 56 f100 no.2 and can I swap the intake and carb from the 64 292 with the 2100 series carb on this 272 yblock? Thanks Bill
