text not working on my wifes freestyle

My wife had her car inspected and the garage had to disconnect the battery(long story)and now the text on her radio will not display. How do you turn this back on?
It's a 6disc factory, Freestyle is 2006

If your talking about the text when the radio is playing you need to go into the menu and turn on the RDS. It may also say RBDS. My Freestyle radio doesn't have text but my Focus does. If it's some other text, I can't help.

Thanks, I've looked all over the manual and could not find anything.
