Hey guys, I have a problem. Today I was replacing my alternator on my 91 F150 5.0 4x and the bottom bolt had corroded inside the bottom hole of the alternator so bad that I had to put a 1/2 pull bar on it to break it loose and turn it. I was about half way of getting the bolt out (by cranking on that pull bar) when the alt and smog bracket broke. Now I have to either buy another bracket or find an alternative.

That being said, I found this Alternator Bracket kit and was wondering what would happen if I chose this route and didnt put the belt back on the air pump?
