351w 351m engine swap

I have a 1993 f350 that got a very bad oil change.. it ran out of oil.. so the motor is hooped.. needs all new bearings.. i would like to put a 351m into it because i have a fresh block sitting in my back yard. are the bolt patterns on the bell housings the same? i also have a 460. is that anything alike to the 351 m? will it bolt onto my tranny and can my rad handle the extra heat?

the 351w and 351m use diferent tranny bolt patterns. the 351w is the same as all smallblocks (289, 302, 351c, 351w), while the 351M is the same as the 429 & 460.

Now i've heard of the 351/400m being called a small block (hot rod magazine)
is that wrong? what could i look for on the motor's to double check?

351m is a destroked 400 that they made with less compression it is in the big block class and is heavy is also wider than a winsor dont think you will find a trans to fit it. they have a different valvecover bolt pattern
