Bill Heard Chevrolet closes their 13 stores

Shame for the 2,700+ people that are now left jobless, but this is what gives car dealers...any brand a bad name.

Consumer Complaints about Bill Heard Chevrolet

I've been reading through the complaints and some of the people are pretty stupid, still owe money on current vehicles they are trading in, didn't know that the cost of paying those vehicles off would be added to the cost of the new vehicle being purchased? I can't believe some people are that brain dead. Those dealers sound terrible though.

I certainly agree with you on that point, but I also noticed alot of individuals that completed their deal w/trade and months later find out that the trade wasn't paid off. And their credit suffered for the dealiership not holding up their end of the bargain. I know if I was taken advantage of that I'd be livid and would take my issue straight to the top and not leave until it's been reconciled completely with no exceptions.

By the way, I used to live not too far from their Collierville Tennessee store and they would have the most absolute stupid radio commercials ever.

Yeah I'd lose my mind if something like that happened to me. I think that the financing end is handled differently up here though. We have to have our own plates and insurance and everything like that before we can pick up a vehicle from the dealership with financing all finished before any vehicles change hands.

There should be some long prison terms handed out for this stunt.

Believe it. P. T. Barnum was right.
