generator for my 62 is not the same

My generator crapped out today and I looked at MAC'S catalog and found the 1961-62 generator does not match my 1962 170 ci engine. The 1963-64 generator in the catalog looks just like mine. What should I get or does anybody have any for sale
Thanks Tom

OK I started my truck again but this time I used my trusty flat head screw driver instead of my key and the generator light went out but I also tapped the voltage regulator with my flashlight before starting. Today was the only time I used my key so I can lock the doors when surfing. Also my voltage gauge started charging again as soon as the light when out ?????

The voltage regulator is mechanical, the rap on it with the screw driver probley freed the stuck points inside. The regulator is also adjustable for voltage output.

Replace the voltage regulator, I have had them go bad, and fry everything.
Dennis Carpenter has them listed, good folks to deal with.
