Wiring for gauge lights

How do I wire in the lights for my gauges so that they dim with the OEM dash panel? Right now I have them daisy chained (A pillar mounted) but I just ran to hot side to the fuse box to make sure they worked and to see how they looked. Where would I splice in so that they were controlled by my dash lights?

That's the best way!
Use the bottom leg of the fuse and they are fuse protected, they're turned on/off and dimmed by the headlight switch like the other dash lights and you won't have to cut and splice any wires.

OK, that's the way I wanted to do it. Maybe I need new glasses. I tried putting it on the bottom leg of the #4 fuse because I thought it said that was the one for the dash lights.

Man, you just don't know. I've been burning Ebay up. Well, not all for parts. My last three purchases were a '95 Ford Truck Repair Manual CD, a 2-volume factory manuals for 1995 F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco and F-Super Duty, and the 1995 7.3L Diesel Supplement. Hopefully those will be here by early next week.
