Voltmeter would also be good to see how your alternator(s) is doing as well. If it's able to put back up the charge after you start up the truck.

Reps for voltmeters! I lost an alternator in one of my other trucks last winter in the middle of snow storm. What if I could have seen it go bad before the snow storm? Could be quite handy.

Up with boost, down with HPOP.

egt
trans temp
oil temp
oil pressure
water temp
volts
boost
fuel pressure

The only sensor locations i am having trouble researching are oil pressure and coolant temp locations for the 6.0. Billet caps will cover oil temp and fuel pressure, drill and tap for egt and boost, trans in test port, voltmeter i reckon has numerous locations.

Coolant temp, there is a port/plug in the side of the block:
Install Pictures

Even gives you the part number for the adapter.

If you don't want to do the billet cap for the fuel pressure:
Install Pictures

Not sure on the oil pressure.

If you get autometer gauges you can use a t-fitting for oil temp and oil pressure and be able to use the same tapping place for readings for both. Water temp is in the block.

How about a T fitting on the billet oil cap for temp and pressure? Would the readings be accurate?

You can do that and I have thought about it but I don't think it would be very accurate. I believe there is a test port under the oil filter housing that you can use for oil pressure or temp but you will need adapters and fittings there also. I figure one in the billet and one in the test port should be good.

If you do both in the test port that would be better then in the billet. Otherwise put one in one spot and one in the other. However, you will need to get a bunge for the one that is going in the test port.

Yep, on the 05-07 they have pods for 4 on the A pillar, 4 overhead above the mirror. And I believe that the 1 gauge pod for the steering wheel column works as well.

So you could have 9 total in autometer pods.

Those all work on 03-04 6.0s as well.

For the 03-04 6.0s there is also the under dash pod, for another 3 gauges.
And the cluster bezel for another 2 gauges.

So on a 03 you could easily mount 14 gauges in the different Autometer pods

No, I tried to get one. I ended up having to custom make one myself.

Really?

I thought I saw a guy with a 06 put one on his truck on another forum.

I have the column pod sitting at my house for my 01, been meaning to try it on my 07 to check.

Hmm....I just searched the forum where I saw it. One guy with a 05 and two with 06s said that they have the column pod.

I'll have to run home with my camera and try and pop it on my 07.

Let me know b/c for the life of me I couldn't get mine to work and I would like to think I'm not that dumb to not be able to put a gauge pod on there. However, I kinda grown to like the custom job I did for the one that I have on the steering column.

Tex, do you have pics of the custom install?
