oh yes im well aware non-roots type 'chargers are popular on any engine, if built to take it. I dunno, kind of one of my weird dreams seeing a 6-71 hanging off the side of a 300 or something w/ that custom intake. would be neat and get ALOT of attention since its so different.
Here's a pic of a 300 with a Whipple supercharger.
I'm going to be building my 300 to run EFI, a Lightning supercharger ( Eaton M112 ) with an air to air intercooler. But it'll be a while before I get it done. Working on the rest of the truck first.
There are no kits out there so if you want to run a supercharger you better have some fab skills or the money to pay someone who does.

Wouldnt a 471 work better for the 300? What about a Paxton or Procharger? Demon makes blow through carbs for the Paxton type superchargers.

It's a distributer not a "dizzy" unless you go around saying "fo shizzle"
It's a transmission or a trans. Not a tranny. If you have a tranny in you vehicle, I suggest you get him out asap!
