CEL came on, can't check codes.

After I did the hot foot mod my cel came on and the od light flashed. Adjusted the pedal stop and no more problems,
But went to check the codes and my OBD II reader said err2, tried it in my car and the code reader worked. Am I doing something wrong? Code reader is a novia 3100, 97 F-350 auto, Thanks, Dave

If it's a 97 it should be a standard OBD-II, shouldnt it?

Some OBD-II scanners are not compatible with the PSD

I believe the snap-on works IIRC.

Snap-On as well as AutoEngeniuty I use a MT 2500 Snap_On the famous Red Brick. Sometime AutoZone can pull codes for free dont know what type of scanner they use though.
