Airbag light 2-1
Hello, I have a 2005 F-150 supercrew and it is flashing a code 21, replaced the clockspring/RCM/checked wires. I put 2007 seats to replace worn old seats, could that have anything to do with it? Snap-on computer spit out a B2293 if that helps. I have the truck sold, but can not sell until fixed if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

A Code 21 with a B2293 indicates a problem with the Restraint System — Air Bag Fault (Passenger Front Air Bag Circuit Fault)
The troubleshooting for this is long and involved... Or it could be as simple as you did not hook up the weight sensor on the passender side seat....
Here's just 1 part of the info for that code combination
Pinpoint Test K: LFC 19 and 21/DTC B2293 — Restraint System — Air Bag Fault
Normal Operation
The front air bags will deploy upon receiving a flow of current from the restraints control module (RCM). Refer to Air Bag and Safety Belt Pretensioner Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) in this section.
The RCM checks all of the front air bag circuits for faults. If the RCM detects one of the following faults on any of the front air bag circuits, it will store diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B2293 in memory, and depending on the fault, flash either lamp fault code (LFC) 19 or 21 depending on the fault (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.
Fault Conditions
The RCM monitors for the following fault conditions:

Fault Conditions

- Low resistance
- High resistance or circuit open
- Circuit short to voltage
- Circuit short to ground
A passenger air bag fault can be caused by:
- damaged wiring, terminals or connectors.
- a faulty passenger air bag module.
- a faulted RCM.

The problem with diagnostic of air bag systems today is that you also have bit mapped DTCs that can only be retrieved using IDS. For example B2293 might have 30 bit mapped DTCs with only one or more pids faulted. This will give you the specific faulted portion in the system. You may have a loose connector or imcompatibility with the seating components installed or maybe you just need the seat weight sensor recalibrated from the other vehicle. It is not such an easy task swapping parts from other vehicles today and unless you are familiar with the vehicle the parts came from, you dont even know if the components were any good that you picked up. You could have multiple faulted components.
