Ouch, that is high. but, just might be worth it, depending on where you hunt.

I'm going to Cabela's Saturday so I'll browse there, but I think I've already made up my mind. After Christmas I'll have to money to buy that .30-30. I'll probably get some ammo at the very least though.

Welp,
I decided I may as well get the .30-30. I put $20 down on it today.

Hey look......a 9 month old thread! Let's update it!!!!

My collection now includes (but is NOT limited to):
Beretta AL391 Trap - 12 ga
Marlin 917V - .17HMR
Winchester Model 1200 - 12 ga
Winchester Model 12 - 12 ga
Mossberg 46B - .22 LR
Marlin 30AS - .30-30
Browning BLR Model 81 - .243

My "wish" list keeps getting longer too. I need to stay off gunbroker.com. It's like ebay for guns. The thing that stops me (and it's good) is that most of them have to be shipped to a licensed dealer. I need to talk to my uncle about that......see if I can send them to his pawn shop in Hastings. Hopefully not, it'd be better for my pocketbook!!

My wish list includes:
Remington Model 760 (or 7600) - .30-06 or .270
Winchester Model 94 - .30-30 or whatever
Colt M1911 - is there any other caliber than .45? (when I turn 21)

I was gonna buy a rack that holds 4 long guns last fall.....good thing I didn't. I'd need 2 of those racks for right now......

How about you?

-Jake

EDIT - Can you tell I like levers and pumps?

Rumor has it that Santa Claus will be bringing me a Ruger Blackhawk 357 revolver this year...

Wifey wants a 9mm since she has to certify on one every so often for the military. I'm thinking I might get her a Glock model 19LE. if she promises not use it on me!

I need to add some to my list......

Browning Auto 5 - 12 gauge - Manufactured in 1950.....a very cool gun
Remington 760 - .30-06 - My uncle had this one in his pawn shop and I went down to see him today. It just happened to be sitting there.....he's had it for a few months now and I've wanted one for a few months. He never told me he had it....but it was just magically there.....
