Anyone have any suggestions

I have a base 04 diesel 2wd single cab and i was wanting to do some interior improvements but i dont know if i should try and find some stock seats cloth or leather or should i find after market ones...

(my seat is a bench that is fine especially for what i paid for the truck (($3100)) but i want another seat and maybe carpet...

also if anyone has a stock seat for sale please contact me....

There are companies out there that do custom conversions. They remove brand new seats from nice vehicles to put in something else. I've seen some websites that these companies have to sell the new parts they remove. That's going to be the easiest method to get a different style of seat.

Katskins makes really nice leather covers, a bit pricey at around 3 grand for a 4 door vehicle, but it's cheaper than factory or new seats. In my 89 F150, I bought seats off fleabay and bolted them in. It wasn't a factory looking job, I use 9/16" bolts, big washers and body bushings to mount them.

Nifty's Proline carpets are rather nice. I used them in my 89 as well and I was very happy with it. Expect it to run $150-200 for a molded carpet.

Id just hit a junkyard or salvage yard and find a set of seats that tickles your fancy. I like my captains with the middle jumpseat/fold down console all in cloth. Should be able to scoop up a set for a few hundred bucks or less I would think. Maybe some that were in good shape but needed some elbow grease to get them cleaned up.

Oh and do a search on fleabay, they have some good deals on molded carpet kits. My XLT crewcab has rubber floor (go figure) and ive thought about putting carpet in it and have looked at some on there. Less then $200 bucks IIRC.
