Roller Rockers?

Roller Rockers?
I was flipping through my Summit catalogue and noticed a kit for 460 heads. This kit is made by Crane, and replaces the original bolt/ rocker combo. It comes with studs, and guide plates. It makes it easier to convert to adjustable roller rockers/ hardened push rods, and maybe get some extra ponies. Has anyone tried this kit? Is it worth it? The Summit part number is CRN-52655-16. What do you guys think.

I have the conversion kit on the 460 in my Torino, and it hasn't given me any problems. You don't need hardened pushrods with the kit, as there's a nylon insert in each guide plate (although I'd imagine, in time, the nylon would wear out).
If you're thinking about converting to roller rockers for extra horsepower, I'd look at other things. The roller rockers might make a FEW horsepower on the dyno, but I seriously doubt your butt-o-meter would notice the difference. They also keep oil temps down a few degrees, but there again, it's not likely to be a huge difference. I made so many changes to my 460 when I rebuilt it, so I can't say how beneficial the rollers would be from a performance standpoint.
