i really am trying to remember , but my mind is all fogged up .... i ran into a scrapyard / parts house i beleive in cali that had a chrome one i was just drooling over for my 53 , for like 600 if i remember right . outside of that or just luck hah . no one reproduces the 53 grille . knew where there was a real nice 53 with no motor or trans the fella had just sitting outside in a questionable part of town and needlees to say it got stripped and hauled in for scrap . someone told me where it was and mervis had already crushed the front clip and fenders ................. i got very illl......................... woulda parted with it had it been salvageable ......

53 grille
I have a perfect 53 grille (painted) but I would have to have a trade for a 55 perfect grille (painted). I would also have to know if the lower grille panel is the same for 53, 54, and 55. The reason is that the 55 grille would have to fit the lower grille panel (from a '53) that I already have.
I don't care if my slantcab looks like a '53, 54, or 55. However, I would advise you to put in an ad in the classifieds wanted section, and also scan the for sale classifieds weekly......
