Good size but that truck looks like crap..well actually it looks like a toyota. same thing. that gas door half way thru those crappy cheap plastic fender flares is awful.

An f-100 would be great.. itd be slightly larger than the ranger but not a 150. Like someone already stated, an F-100 would fall under the F-series truck statistics and would be a great selling point. the ranger hasnt won anything to advertise about. Then you could build the bronco2 off of that and screw the explorer. we already got a huge lineup of SUV's. the escape and expediton is close enough.

ya, agree with them fenders. Think that is the Euro model. Ours is the same but not seen them plastic fenders. actually that truck looks more than the (old) Frontier that still sells here as the Hardbody 'cept the nose. its a solid truck but again thats Ford Europe try to give us American looks. Love your '78 F100, awesome!

From what I've heard, the F-100 is to look like a mini F-150, but won't be an exact copy as it will have it's own unque features.

The ultimate Ranger.
Update the look just a bit.
Crew cab 4 door option.
4 inches wider.
Crew cab with 5 foot bed.
Reg cab with a 6 foot or 7 foot bed.
Supercab with 5, 6, or 7 foot bed.
4.6L 3V. auto
4BT cummins auto only
4.0SOHC man or auto
2.3DOHC manual or auto
Solid front axle or use the F-150 a arms. Plenty o beef.

Make a 1/2 ton truck but with the compactness of the Ranger.
The number 1 trait that would make the Ranger sell like a hot cake is a V-8 option.
These babys would sell faster than a $5 crack rock in the slums of New York.

I have 2 Rangers and the comment I make most is, I wish it had a V-8, be it a 5.0 or 4.6 The 4.0 pulls hard and runs good but add another 75-100 HP and it would be way better than a Mustang.

Do you mean to up the Rangers payload to half ton capabillities? I am aware of guys who fitted a 5L V8 to their Ranger. Better yet wish Ford could give us a 250-ish horsepower factory motor. That beieng said, i always favour dependabillitty over outright power and that the 4.0 V6 is.
