500 ppm sulfur diesel - Is it still legal?

Is it legal to run 500 ppm sulfur diesel on the hwy?

Yes as long as its not dyed non-taxed fuel. You just can't run it in a 2007 or newer truck.

Thats the big one right there, military still uses it but locally even the dyed off road stuff is ULSD (15ppm) because legally the fuel suppliers and truckers can't use the same truck or the same tanks to haul or store it since 1 gallon of 500ppm contaminates 10,000 gallons of ULSD so most of htem have decided rather then risk having epa do a check on them and find a couple ppm over the limit because they accidently got it mixed a little it's easier to only store, haul and sell ULSD.

I don't think it is available I know it ain't round here in Oklahoma America even for farm use! It's all low sulphur. Any of you run into problems with the low sulphur fuel drying out o-rings, etc.?

That should have been taxed fuel not nontaxed fuel.

Everyone here is right. It pretty much impossible to find it at stations but the chances are he has some in a farm tank or something like that.
