Y- Pipe?

Just wondering what the pieces are callled that the boot connects to for the y- pipe. I think my gaskets might be leaking on these pieces but not sue what they are called.

I belive they are called intake manifolds. Atleast that what I always called them. Are you talking about the peices that bolt to the heads?

There's no gaskets under the plenums, just grey sealant.

Ok thanks for the info. Where do I get this grey sealant. Has anyone ever heard of "the right stuff" made by permatex? Would this be ok to use I believe it is oil resistant.

Get the grey stuff. You can get it at most aprts stores. Be sure it is grey.
