Wow

Wow it sure did get quiet in here.

We can't all be working that hard/much are we?

I am about covered up with the annual pre bad weather crunch.

Yes I am enjoying the good weather. My father-in-law was actually baling hay yesterday. That is almost unheard of this time of year. I need to work on my car but I don't think the weather will hold out long enough for me to work on it outside. I saw the news where South Dakota was getting pounded by snow at 3 inches an hour and they have a total of 4'. I-90 was closed from Mitchell to 50 miles past Wyoming state line. I was out there this summer and that is about 400 miles of interstate. They can keep it up north.

Well for me it WAS a combination of the job and the elections (ain't gonna go there!) that kept me away.

BUT that was then and this is now!

Dave...they keep you busy to keep you and the Dirt Devil out of touble! LOL

Election, I hope I am very wrong.

My nephew is in Afghanistan, I am worried.
I am in WV, I am worried.

I guess no one watches the national news here.
Housing is in the toilet in 95% of the country, housing glut, falling prices.
They are building them here as fast as they can.

I guess we really are behind the rest of the country, we have not reached the housing saturation point yet.

How much snow did everyone get? We ended up with about 4 inches on the ground. I think alot more than that fell but the ground was pretty warm and it was melting as fast as it was falling for a while. I heard Snowshoe got 15".

I had to drive to Charlottesville, VA Tuesday evening and it was a little dicey until I got outta WV. Gas was $1.82 in Staunton!

No snow to speak of, maybe a dusting, but gas at Sams in Parkersburg was $1.759 for regular.

We had an inch this morning, went out south of town and a small blizzard came through about 11 AM and dumped three more inches.

Crazy weather, I think we got up to 20 today, but the wind had the wind chill below zero.

Just a dusting here in Pipestem...regular is down to 1.99 in town and diesel is down to 2.89 in Princeton! I haven't made a VA trip lately for fuel but it's gotta be even lower across the border!

Diesel at 2.89? I might be able to afford to drive my truck when I get home, now that I had 37x12.50 added to it, I should get about 10 mpg LOL. ya'll stay warm over there.
