Smile New wheels and tires question -

Hey - Does anyone have an answer to this question??? I have a 2006 F-150 XLT ext. cab 4x4 and am wanting to buy some after-market wheels for it. I found some for sale from a private party and he says he had them on an 05 supercrew. My stock wheel tire size is 255/70/17 - The wheels he's selling me are Raceline Renegade 6 (18x10 / 6x135mm / with 5.25 backspace) and have 285/65/18 BFG all-terrains mounted on them. He says they should bolt right on and I would figure they should fit, but want a second opinion from you guys. I have to pick them up 250 miles away and don't want to go just to be dissappointed because they don't fit! Thanks much -

-Jack

Welcome to FTE Jack. Well if they were on a 2004+ F150, they will bolt up. That size will fit in the stock wheel wells as well.... so all signs point to

He said he had them on his stock 05 supercrew. Said nothing about a leveling kit, Thanks for the feedback!

my only question is:

are you 2wd or 4x4? those won't fit a 4x2 without rubbage

The largest tire you can put on a 4x2 with out spacers is a 255/65/17.

Hope this helps
