fitting 35s

Is there any way possible, with the help of a sawzall or whatever, to fit 35s on the stock suspension of a 04 f150?

2" leveling kit. It's cheap, effective, and looks better than sawing your truck apart.

do a site search on leveling kit

otherwise no, you are pretty much limited to a max of 33" tires without the leveling kit

Do the leveling kit first, It depends on the 35" tires and rims you are using weather they will fit or not. The swampers I have on my truck are closer to 36"s so even with a leveling kit I had to do some trimming to the back part of the fenders but not a whole lot.
I don't even wanna think about all the cutting you'd have to do to make 'em fit with out a leveling kit You'd probably be better off just taking the whole fenders off hahaha

with the help of a sawzall as you indicated you should be able to run 40's. it just depends on how much cutting you are willing to do. just put them on an start trimming until there is enough clearance.

On stock suspension....you will not run 35's. With the leveling kit you should be able to run most 35 all terrains probably some mud tracs too but the larger the side lugs are is where you will run into rubbing issues. For instance the BF goodrich AT and Dick cepec FC II are great tires and have tall stance with not too much side lugs and should fit. I have the BF's on mine with 2.5 levling kit with 305-70-18 and they fit fine. No rubbing. That is a 34 tire.

I have 315/70/17 BFG's (about 34.5") on my 04 with no lift and they do not rub.

4x4?

4x2?

either way, I call BS on the no rubbing part unless you've done some serious trimming

EDIT: nevermind, see you're 4x4. still, there are guys with 6" lifts that have 35" tires rub.

I have on my 06 FX4 35/12.50/18's Nitto Mud grapplers I have the 2.5 inch leveling kit also a 3inch body lift.. Now my lift is a nice one.. it lifts my bumper as well so you don't have the gap between the bumper and the body. Even with that done to my truck i still have rubbing on full turns. I'm thinking spacers.. here shortly.... But' i'm 99% you will have rubbing isues with any tire of that size on a stk rim.

Well sparky if you took the time to look at the pics you would see no trimmed parts, not even serious trimming.
All it take s is some common sense and to use the proper offset wheel and WOW it works!

common sense, not to mention real life experiences from hundreds of people says otherwise. No reason to get into a hissy

you are running a 12.25" wide tire on OEM geometry. There just isn't room there. Guys with OEM and aftermarket rims are having rubbing issues running that size tire...but somehow you are able to do so without problems...you are all alone on that.

post up your rims specs please

I've already posted pictures in my gallery to show how much clearance they have. They are 11.5" wide on my wheels.
I doubt if rim specs will help you, but they are available from Ford so you can look them up for yourself if you like.
