I've done everything myself, except for the trans rebuild, so labor isn't factored in. $$$ is a tough figure to put on it, since I built it as a reg. cab 1st, then started over with new frame, cab, etc. I'm on trans #3, TC#4, going on engine #3, and continuing to experiment. I have a little over $30K plus 700ish hours, but a lot of that is R&D, & re-doing blown up stuff. To do it all over again with 600+ hp on fuel only, same mods, and have it totally finished, I'd probably charge a customer @ $50-75K for everything. I just haven't put a number to it, as almost anyone who wants/ has something this unique is much richer than most people I know, or they do it themselves.

Sorry, I forgot I deleted that one last week. I never new that someone else was trying another 6.0 swap build until I seen yours in the mag. The '62 cab is a little tighter than yours so I was only able to fit 3/4 of the dash. I started it at the end of '07 but put it off a couple of times for other projects. Now that I have to finish it to be able to use my lift it won't be long. Don't feel too bad about being tapped out, me too. I have to get rid of some to do new stuff. Great build though and I don't know who you have helping you figure out some of that R&D but we've been inside and out of my '05 for a couple of years now.

I actually had to squeeze and trim the dash to work. It sounds like we started our projects at about the same time. I've done all the work myself except the tranny rebuild. I personally don't get into transmission internals. If you've got questions or whatever to get stuff figured out, just gimme a shout, but it looks to me like you have it more than covered. I love that project. I was originally going to do a 57-60 style truck, but the reg. cab I built first had 20K original, and looked too good to pass up. Nice lookin' truck though, I'm subscribing.

very cool, I love projects like this.

Are you sure that bottle jack is strong enough to hold that inner fender panel for mock up?

I don't know, I've been worried about that myself. I really wish sometimes I had a third or forth hand. Thanks man.

What a project. One item you won't need is the boost fooler, they used that on the 7.3L engines. Keep up the Good work!
