Well another month has passed by. Cloudy here today but no rain as of yet. How was everyone's halloween? I worked, we had zero for trick or treaters.

 

Partly sunny here all day.Good day for working outside.
I was home all night on halloween,not one kid showed up.

 

Clear in the morning, drizzly in the afternoon and raining in the evening. Spent the afternoon with a friend installing a rear swaybar on his Excursion, and removing beer from his fridge.

Halloween was good. Kids got tired after an hour of trick-or-treating because the bags were so heavy with candy. They were leaping all over the house today, all hopped up on sugar.

 

Gotta love that sugar high.

 

Yucky rainy here again today....no kids for halloween, Dustin had fun trick or treating with his big sister though and then really enjoyed the haunted house.

 

I want to go camping.

 

Pick me, pick me....I wanna go too...

 

Has anyone tried winter camping in their RV? This is the first year we've had one and I think it would be fun.

 

I guess it would depend on where you want to go. I don't think it would be much fun to wake up in the morning and find 6" of snow. Now if you are talking Arizona or something like that, I would probably like that.

Todd how do you folks normally camp. Provincial sites, out in the boonies or at serviced campsites?

 

I was talking to a truck driver a couple years back about how he and his wife went into Mexico through Arizona with their rv. Woke up to snow in Arizona. So they went south. Woke up to snow in Mexico too. They turned around and came home to BC for some rain.

 

Iv'e heard some stories like that. Rainy here today. Just have to sit around and do nothing for the day. Oh well.

 

It has been non stop raining here since halloween....starting to get pretty mucky out in the back yard for Al to lay in when he gets home and I send him out to put the tranny in my bronco...LOL

 

That's just nasty.

 

Provincial sites mostly, but I'd like to get a little more adventurous. The 5th wheel has a furnace and the truck has 4wd...just wondering if anyone has tried camping in the snow and towing in the snow.

Maybe its not a very realistic idea...

 

I would camp in the snow but only if it snowed after I had set up. I have never towed when there was snow on the roads and don't really think I'm in any hurry to do it.

We find many of the older provincial sites are quite difficult to get our 5th wheel into.
