Good morning every one, it sure does feel a little more normal now that the time change has finally taken place. I felt almost as disorientated as the in the dead of winter back in the early 70's it was ruled that the clocks had to be set back to daylight savings time to help with the then energy crisis.
Some thing for the day: Fortunately no one was seriously injured in an early morning rock slide at Yosemite in a tourist camp in Currie village in early October that consisted of tents and several cabins. The thing that caught my attention was a photo of a smashed cabin with walls broken exposing yellow insulation, and trees, some appearing to be a least a couple of feet through strewn about like broken match sticks in the background and a advertisement listed in a different pane not connected with the photo advertising stays at Curry Village as low as $49.00, Call toll free.
This wouldn’t be a “Here’s your sign” moment would it?
Well having finished yet another cup of boiled on stove toxic waste, my version of "Electric Chair Special" I' am almost ready to face the world on this mild breezy overcast November day. In my surfing yesterday I came across more on the new Windows OS that is slated to hit sometime now in late 09, remember BETA means Beta be careful. Here is a link:
Good Morning Wyoming truck fans! Well, it's supposed to be up to 75 today, so I'm going out to get some leaves picked up. I'll be back on later, you guys have a good one!
OH I forgot Pat is slacking today. Who is running the nuke plant? Good morning Orin.
Got the JD 212 fixed yesterday. The tensioner for the drive belt seized and it was making the belt slap around causing some serious vibrations. Also did a rattle can overhaul on the tin pieces. She looks good as new.
Morning Miles, Pat, Big Ken, and all others, Pat you better hurry with those leaves as my leaves are coming your way today. Nuke plant? This isn't the one featured on the Simpson's is it Pat? If you have a boss by the name of Montgomery Burns..........Ha, Ha, had my moment. Miles how goes it in your corner of the world today? Those old machines were just like a Timex, "Take a Likin and Keep on Tickin".
Doing good over here Orin. I am in search of a parts washer, a 20-25 gallon air compressor and a floor jack today. I have to rotate tires on my girlfriends car and I am sick of doing it with crappy trunk jacks and a breaker bar. That little old tractor has its moments but it is exactly like a Timex. We are looking for another 2 series or 3 series JD riding mower if anyone knows of one.
I have had those moments when I was in the right place at the right time, shall keep an eye out. Not trying to mind your business Miles but get a compressor with a regular compressor pump not an integral motor and oil less pump. Had one that took forever to pump up and wore out quick. See a lot of dead ones around. Hope it was help.
Good Morning Miles, Orin, Michelle, Scott, and the Wyoming chapter! Last of the nice days today, should be in the 70's again. But, they are talking snow on friday.
