What kind of paint was thatI saw

What kind of paint was thatI saw
At the HD shop and a bike was painted with paint I could see thru to bare metal.There was no primer under the paint either.The metal was prepped with sanding swirls and made the paint do crazy things.

Might have just been cleared over. The clear may have had pearl in it....

No pearl in that paint job.T swirls is what made it do cool things.It could have been clear with color mixed in it.The lack of primer is what got me.You can see thru the paint and see the metal

Probably a candy shot over the metal and then cleared.
