I am returning to this site after way too long. Much to my suprise it is with a 2008 F250 that I won. Quite an improvement over the Bronco II for which I was known as B2Sardog. I moved to Mobile, AL from Two Rivers, WI mid July 2006. I am active duty Coast Guard, and have been for over 8 years now. I love my Super Duty, and have big plans for it. I have many years of body shop and mechanic experience due to my upbringing, and will help when I can. I would like to find a trail or two in my area and maybe some new friends that share my love for Ford Trucks.
I don't get to the beach as much as I would like, honestly I have spent more time in Key West than on our local beach this year. Most of the time I am much further offshore. I did win the truck, from the Southern Ford Dealers WinASuperDuty Giveaway. I was one of 30 semifinalist to win a trip to Tampa to see Brad Paisley in concert and try a key code for the truck. Unfortunately Hurricane Ike had other plans, and I was deployed to reestablish the devastated Texas shipping lanes. So in a rush I obtained a release form for my wife to attend in my place. She flew in and won! I bounced a signal off an oil rig and recieved the text message "We won! I love u". I, for some reason had trouble concentraiting on watch that night.
I used to go offshore (fishing) a lot a few years ago when I had a boat down there. Mostly out of Mobile Bay via Ft. Morgan Marina.
I think the Coast Guard is pretty darned cool. Never had to call on them (thank goodness!) but sure nice to know they were there if I ever got in a real pickle.
I have been to Wisconsin a lot of times.
Mostly Milwaukee, but I'd venture out on the weekends. I enjoyed a Saturday at the Oshkosh Museum.
I always liked visiting Wisconsin.
Rural and pretty once you get out of the city.
My wife just before she won.
The truck in it's spot next to "my" car.
Thanks for the greeting, I thought I'd share a couple of pics to go along with this interesting story.
I have also made the truck a little louder since I posted last
