Front Cab Corners Repaired Pics Posted

I just finished repairing the front lower cab corners on my 1965 F100.
I have seen a lot of questions about repairing these, so I posted some pics in my gallery. (restoration section)
My solution was to make up small patches to complete the corners.
Even though I live in the North-East, my problems were mostly due to rodents, not road salt.
It seems a small colony of the varmints were living in my cab for years.

I cannot really tell with the black and glare but you did duplicate the drain for the cowl?

Corner Repair

Yes, I did make a drain.
I didn't even realize it was there untill I did the other side.
The drain tube on the pass side was gone, I guess it got mixed up with the acorns.
I am taking the cab next week to get media blasted. ( baking soda.)
Then just a small bit of bodywork, primer and then paint.
I can't wait...

Hey, looks good, I gotta do that too, but not quite that much, and it gotta wait until next year now, too much to do, too little time.

Kewl,

POR or a similar product slathered all over the inside lower of the cowl sheet metal and the seam sealed with sealer will finish it off.

Keeping the moisture out is key.
