Original rims

Ok Bill here's one for you. What size were the original rims on a 65 100 I'm getting tired of these huge oversized wheels and don't want to wear out my steering again.
Thanks

15 x 5.5
or 16 x5.5

is your truck upgraded to disc brakes?

If so just purchase a new set of rims from Vintiques or stockton wheel. the new rims have the correc hoop to clear the calipers.

I have to run spacers (washers) on my rotors for about a week until the pads wear in a bit or the rim rubs my calipers. I wouldn't feel comfortable running like that permanent, but a week I can deal with.
