!st post but have been lurking.
I have a 99 F350SD 7.3L. 390568K Of Dump trailer and plowing use. Feels as old as I do
Original tranny is the reason I found this site. The information everyone here is providing is greatly appreciated and I cant thank you enough for all your hard work.
I too have been lurking for a long time. Actually registered a while ago so I could search. I currently have a '79 F150 4x4 with a 351M and four speed manual. I really like this truck.
I am currently shopping for a 2002 or 2003 Excursion 4x4 with a 7.3 diesel and/or a 1997 to 2003 pickup crewcab, manual tranmision, diesel. I really want a red one for the pickup. I will have to see what Santa can put down the chimney this year.
Another newbie - 2003 F250 4X4 with a Lance 845 Slide in camper...specifically for surf fishing. Interested in learning more about modifications and gas mileage.
I have a 1997 F250 Powerstroke, it does not have an owners manual, nor a repair manual. Any information on how I can find either would be appreciated. There are some minor bugs I would like to dig into and repair, but cannot find a Haynes or Chilton manual on my truck.
Hi all,
Just moved up from 2000 f150 to 04 250 CC 4x4 w/ 6.0L 44K mi. It's my first diesel so I'm sure I'll be picking the brains of many of you. Already found a huge amount of info in just the few days I've been on here. Thanks in advance for all the help.
Hello, new to the forum. Just purchased 08 SDF250 4x4V10 SC. Traded 05 4x2 SC F150. The difference between the two is night and day. I hope this new truck is as good as the F150. I have driven them all Mopar, General, TOYOTA,Nissan. FORD is TRUCK. ... all the others just try to be.
Hello... I'm new to the site and wanted to get some advice on the cold air intakes and throttle body spacers that I see advertised as making more power/torque. I have a 2003 F250 Super Duty V10...all stock right now. I use it only to pull a 7000lb trailer including the race car.
Instead of doing it like I usually do....buy all the crap and put it on and then learn that it makes no difference...I thought I would ask experienced hands what their experience has been with these products. If they DO work do any work better than others? And where did you get them and about how much did you pay?
In other words I would like to find out about this as a normal adult would...go on others experiences. I have spent enough on crap in my life to fill up 2 life times...so if I can help out someone else to avoid spending $$$$ needlessly I am more than happy to help out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I didn't post this in the right spot I apologize and could you direct me to the right forum? I did a brief search and didn't come up with anything but have always had trouble with getting anything useful from any sites when searching...seem to get nothing or a bunch of off topic stuff.
I change the oil by putting royal purple 5w20 synth and k&n ail filter and a tornado air managment when i bought the truck i was getting about 12 mpg now i looking about 17mpg xo it does not take long at 5mpg i hope this help Andre
I have been registered for some time but just started posting. Can someone tell me why on a FORD forum, I am seeing ads for a H3 GM Hummer????? Just a question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New poster but I've been here for a while. Currently have two F250s. One is an 06 5.4 XLT Sport Crew 4x4 and the other is an 04 6.0 KR Crew 4x4 that I am rebuilding from a rollover.
a new poster on the forums though ive been observing for a while. a nice wealth of info. ive owned a large amount of ford trucks over the years and will continue to do so.
I'm new here so.... not real sure if I am doing this right. I recently purchased a 1999 F250 Lariat Crew Cab 4x2. It only had 54k miles and all the paper work was in order... The original owner even had the reciept for the dash cover...(Amazing) So far I have really enjoyed the ride. It came with the K&N air filter, OttoMind Stinger & Transcommand from Banks Power & an Air Lift for the rear Axel. It has been awhile since I have had a nice Ford Truck and I am hopeing for Years of good use out of this one. We are a Family of 4 who love the outdoors.
