I too have been lurking for a long time. Actually registered a while ago so I could search. I currently have a '79 F150 4x4 with a 351M and four speed manual. I really like this truck.

I am currently shopping for a 2002 or 2003 Excursion 4x4 with a 7.3 diesel and/or a 1997 to 2003 pickup crewcab, manual tranmision, diesel. I really want a red one for the pickup. I will have to see what Santa can put down the chimney this year.

Manuals?

Hi All,

I have a 1997 F250 Powerstroke, it does not have an owners manual, nor a repair manual. Any information on how I can find either would be appreciated. There are some minor bugs I would like to dig into and repair, but cannot find a Haynes or Chilton manual on my truck.

Thanks.

Need advice from experienced users...

Hello... I'm new to the site and wanted to get some advice on the cold air intakes and throttle body spacers that I see advertised as making more power/torque. I have a 2003 F250 Super Duty V10...all stock right now. I use it only to pull a 7000lb trailer including the race car.

Instead of doing it like I usually do....buy all the crap and put it on and then learn that it makes no difference...I thought I would ask experienced hands what their experience has been with these products. If they DO work do any work better than others? And where did you get them and about how much did you pay?

In other words I would like to find out about this as a normal adult would...go on others experiences. I have spent enough on crap in my life to fill up 2 life times...so if I can help out someone else to avoid spending $$$$ needlessly I am more than happy to help out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I didn't post this in the right spot I apologize and could you direct me to the right forum? I did a brief search and didn't come up with anything but have always had trouble with getting anything useful from any sites when searching...seem to get nothing or a bunch of off topic stuff.

Thanks again in advance.

I'm new here so.... not real sure if I am doing this right. I recently purchased a 1999 F250 Lariat Crew Cab 4x2. It only had 54k miles and all the paper work was in order... The original owner even had the reciept for the dash cover...(Amazing) So far I have really enjoyed the ride. It came with the K&N air filter, OttoMind Stinger & Transcommand from Banks Power & an Air Lift for the rear Axel. It has been awhile since I have had a nice Ford Truck and I am hopeing for Years of good use out of this one. We are a Family of 4 who love the outdoors.
