I'm new to forums and computers but been driving my 1995 F-350, diesel, crew cab with manual transmission since new. Great truck but lately having trouble with clutch pedal bushing wear. Almost cannot put her in gear with pedal pushed fully down. Gotta pull hard and steady to put in first gear.
Are there any remedies other than the two most obvious ones?
Thank you for any help.
Hi there. My name's Scott, and I'm a truckaholic...
I'm new to the Fords though, although I did have a '79 FSB back in the day.
I just bought a '99 F350 7.3 CC 4x4 DRW Lariat about a month ago, 120k miles. With all the deflation and high fuel prices I finally could justify spending the dough on a good truck that would do everything I might need. (I don't plan on ever needing another truck after this one) I can still hardly believe my good fortune picking up this truck.
So I've been lurking about, trying to make heads or tails of the various things that I'd like to fix and/or modify. Lots of good stuff here! More questions to follow...
Hey there
Im new to F-250 Hds but Ive been a mod jeeper for 25 years.
Ill be picking up my 97 tomorrow ,
It has a 460 4x4 and Ive got a 3 hour drive home. Ive always fancied myself as a light footed driver so we'll see what kind of gas mileage I get.
Im glad to be on this board Im sure Ill learn lots from everyone and hope I can help too.
Ciao for now
Matt
I'm new and have 1999 F250 7.3 L Diesel with 320,000 miles. Do a little work on it my self. She's only left me stranded one time- timing sensor went out. Still was able to limp to the side of the road.
However - I am looking for some new headlight lenses-suckers have faded and my headlights arent as bright.
hey all
newb here i got a 2000 F-250 V10,4x4,295 toyos
and with all the threds on here i was able to fix my abs/vss sensor for less then $20
so far this forum is great for info
New here too! Used this site to help me with the decision making process on whether to buy the Dodge, GMC or the Ford. Hard to beat the Ford for looks and once I got over the fear of the 6.0 reliability issues, finally settled on a 2005, Crew Cab, Short Box with 8" lift.
Already got the Mod bug going and dropped Nitto Mud 37/12.50/20's on her. Had to still cut the front bumper 4" on both sides to keep from rubbing. Still rubbing on the inside so, I'll cut the inner wells this weekend.
It's the XLT so although REALLY disapointed without the leather, power slide window, keyless entry, I'm ordering a leather kit and having the stealer install the remote start/remote entry.
Got the truck with 60K miles for 19,200 from the Manheim auction.
I've been reading and posting in the Bronco II forum for a few years. Now I'm jumping here to the other end of the spectrum. My wife and I have decided to get a 28-30ish foot travel trailer and the BII just aint gona haul that. I guess you could say I'm going from the tinny to the LARGE.

New here. Have a few Fords from 150's up thru 550's. All used for work, not so much toys. Most recently picked up a 04 F250 Xl Reg cab/8ft bed, 51k miles, Mint.
HI all,
I'm not exactly new here at FTE,I've been regestered for quite awhile and lurking in the shadows. Having just bought an '05 F250 SC I'm eager to jump in and start enjoying this site ! OH,did I forget to say how much I LOVE my truck!!!!!
not really new, but just found this thread.
I have an 04 F250
Love FORDS and in the market for a nice diesel to do some work on and use it to burn some cars on the local strip! haha
my current truck has flow master exhaust, AirRaid intake, Chipped, J&L audio throughout, 7" procomp lift with procomp resi shocks, 40" mudgrapplers on 22" rims!
Not currently a Ford SD/HD owner. I currently only own a 2000 4x4 Ranger 3.0L V6. i do plan on buying a 2009 4x4 250 SD in the next two months or less. I'm here trying to make sure that I get the right vehicle the first time instead of living 5 years with a wrong model.
Nice to meet you all, and thanks for the help some of you have already given me.
I am a new member and look forward to speaking with those whose knowledge is far greater than myself. I own a 2005 F250 CC 6.0. I bought it used in 2007, only have 31 K (stock) on its so far and cannot complain so far.
