Welcome to FTE guys. Remember this is just an introduction thread. If you have specific questions you would like answered, it's best you start your own thread. If we tried to answer questions in this thread, it would be too hard to keep up with who was answering who.

If you go back to the Super Duty section, just above all the threads you'll see a button that looks like this where you can create your own thread and start asking questions. Remember to include info about your truck when asking questions.

hello from Wyoming. I just bought a 2001 f250. It had hit a deer so has some grill, bumper, and light damage. Other than a small dent on the front edge of the hood, the body is in great condition. It has 256,000 miles but seems to be running fine. I paid $1500 so I think I got a pretty good deal on it.

I recently purchased a 2006 F260 Lariat Ford Truck. It has a factory power sliding back glass that does not work. I have tried replacing the relay which did not work. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so what can be done to fix it. I would appreciate any information that is available. Thank you

Talking Hi Ya All!

Hello! I've been sand bagging and reading the fourm for about three months now trying to get as much info on a 2001 - F350 DRW 5.4 Supercab that my Dad gave me from Fla.

Dont really know much about the truck, I'm the second owner and it has 33.000 miles on it and VERY clean. no rust, allmost showroom condition.
Wife hates the truck because it rides like a truck (haha). I have done just about everything I can think of other than changed the tires to make her happy but it's a truck. She wants me to sell it and get a used 2007 Lincoln and I am trying to make her happy. How do I get my Big Monster to act like a Lincoln?

Anyhow glad to be here and hope to learn as much as I can.
Tat

New Guy looking for a diesel

Greetings,

I'm in the market for a Ford truck and think I want a diesel but am concerned about all the issues I've heard of about certain years of Ford diesels. Can you direct or advise me on which may be the better years to look for from the lists POV. I plan to pull a moderate trailer, 28 feet or under, so maybe I could get away with a 150 5.4? I currently have a 98 expedition since new and love it, but think I want a crew cab for more versatility. Help me get started as I know this is the premier site for knowledge,

Michael

Hey guys, I've been hanging around the site for a year or so. I have an '05 X that I brought up into Canada out of Idaho last year. Love the truck. I enjoy doing as much wrenching as I can, mostly for cost but also since I haven't found a good diesel mechanic yet. This site is priceless. Thanks for all the advice.

Hello, I just purchased a 2005 F250 XL with the 5.4 and 5 speed O.D auto . has tow package , This is the Work Truck with 27000 miles on it Paid $11,400.00, don't have electric windows or locks and no A/C or C.C. but the price is right. I will be using the Tech forum a lot . I will be mounting a 10 ft Lance Camper on it. My first Ford since I bought a new one in 1990. See you on the road.
