I'll first have to read some "Photographic Enthusiasts" forum to learn how to post the darn photos. LOL Besides, it looks just about like yours. LOL Right now it is getting a brake controller, 67-gallon fuel tank, bed cap and running boards installed. I sold the tonneau cover and running boards it had when I bought it. Maybe when it is hitched to the 34´ Airstream I'll post a photograph of the entire 59´ rig being long and silver.

brake controller? 08's have one integrated, right?

'just about like yours' isn't the same.. we LOVE pictures.. (well, I DO!)...

tonneau.. crud.. I'm lookin for one!..

67 gallon tank.. where did you find that?

posting photos is a breeze with Photobucket.. just open a free account, upload (lots of different ways, very easy), and then copy the IMG link and paste it into a new mesage post.. can do many links in one message...

FTE upload & post has been flaky the last year or so..
been here since 2001 (cause of my 55). and this by far the best place..

The Ford factory installed brake controller is limited to only electric drum brakes. My 34´ Airstream has electric/hydraulic disc brakes on all six Dexter axles and hubs. So, an appropriate after market brake controller was needed.

The 67-gallon fuel tank is from Titan Fuel Tanks. It replaces the Ford factory installed 38-gallon fuel tank on my truck. Titan's URL is titanfueltanks.com.

Thanks for the information about photographs.

Newbie

Hey all! Newbie here trying to figure my way around. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I'm trying to restore my Grandfather's 1956 F100 Big Window. All I can say now is that I'm glad this forum is here. I've been hanging out reading some posts and it's nice to see all the help that's out there!

for the 56 Big window (drool, I am looking for one!) you should go over to the 48-60 section

Hey guys like the new guy fish said i wont be able to offer much tech support but truly appreciate all yours. I am on my second diesel and love them.2008 F350 CC 4X4 SB I had a 2.5 leveling kit installed. The first time i found this, a couple of weeks ago i read where a couple of guys trucks would carry on in rain storms, as didi mine, so i took it to my dealer and told them what it needed and they ended up fixing it for free even though my warranty was up(48000) thanx so much for the info!
