Hi, new to the site. Just traded my 05 extended cab f-150 in for a 2003 super duty supercab. Lots of good info on the site, so I thought I would just join.

Welcome to the site. There are a lot of good people here, not to mention good info. Make sure to hit up the "read this first" posts (Seems obvious, but a lot of people somehow seem to miss this.) :-)

Back to a Ford since my F100

Just purchased my Ford this weeks. 2005 F250.
It is a stock XLT Super Duty 2wd crew cab. I am looking for suggestions to make it a little more custom.
First step is new tires. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the welcome.

What I found to have the quickest payback is change the exhaust,,,,let that diesel breath.

New Member, new F250

Hello all,

I'm new on the site and on my third Ford PU; a new 2009 F250 Lariot 5.6L, 4WD.

I'm very happy with the new truck; although I haven't heard anything from the dealer (Crossroads Ford, Wake Forest, NC) since I bought it over almost four weeks ago. I called the Sales Manager last week and told him that someone should at least call and say 'Thank you'...but still haven't heard a peep. Apparently, they don't want me to my my next Ford from them!

Anyway, glad that I found a forum with other SD owners and I look forward to sharing good information with you all.

HAPPY GIRL AGAIN!!!!!! I grew up with Ford trucks-I knew how to drive an F350 dually with a 4 horse goose neck trailer before I knew how to drive a car :-) My ex kept the 7.3L Excursion in the divorce and I ended up with a Toyota Matrix. Well, 1 husband, 2 kids under 2, and 2 big dogs put me back in a Ford truck FINALLY :-) Since 7.3L Excursions are about impossible to find (and the 6.0L can NOT be trusted) I now have a 2000 Expedition XLT with 125K and a few quirks. I want to know as much as I can about the lighter Ford trucks since I hate to pay someone to do what I can learn to do myself (or add to my husband's "honey do" list).

Nicely done sir. Love that color... and I'm a lil jealous of your wheels. I found a deal on 18" oem recently... and you've already got me thinking about trading up when I wear these tires out. As before, welcome to the site. Reps are on the way for actually posting pics of your ride. ;-)

hello everyone,
I have been a member for a while now. I have been just reading all of the great tech info and advice you guys give to people. I'm looking to buy an 08 or newer f350 diesel and soaking up as much info from you folks that i can. I currently own an 89 f150 w/ a 5.0 that has 205,000 miles on it and still runs great. When get down to the nity gritty about buying, im sure I will have a few questions. Thanks Terry

Thanks T8R!

I'm not sure how the OEM Goodyear Wrangler's will last, but the price for the replacement 20" tires was less than $200 each. I had really good results with the BFG AT KO on the F150 (over 50k miles and lots of tread remaining), but those tires are expensive in a 20" variety!

Just joined the Super Duty Crowd

Hello all,

Just traded in my 2004 Nissan Titan SE for a 2008 F250 6.4 Crew Cab 4x4 Lariat SB . Needed the extra towing power to tow my boat and the extra payload helps with my work. Have lots of questions but will ask in another thread. Loving the truck so far!
