What's up everyone? I'm new to the forum. My name is James and I'm from Las Vegas. Previously owned a 05 F-250 V10. Currently do not own a truck, but am looking at getting a 08 or 09 F-250 diesel.

I am also new to Fords, as I have been an avid Chevy fan for alot of years. Still have a 2002 2500 HD in the garage. Had been wanting a diesel and my wife saw this 2007 Super Duty King Ranch at a local Chevy dealer. I pull a drag at local fairs in the summer, and have been quite successful in the 1/2 and 3/4 ton gas classes. This diesel will be quite a learning experience for me. Looking to upgrade exhaust, intake, and reprogram the computer. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. I don't know yet how to start new threads here yet.

Hello. Brand new to the forum. I just purchased a 04 F-250 Harley Davidson V-10. I love this truck and look forward to everything this forum has to offer. I am currently in Washington State but will be shipping this truck over to Hawaii this week. I am an Army Blackhawk Pilot and am being stationed over there for a few years.

Joined the site a few months back. Like what I see. I started out with a Ranger, moved up to a F-150, and now I am in the middle of purchasing a F-250. I look forward to giving any help that I can and to getting help from everyone here.

Another newbie, well Super Duty Newbie. Just purchased an '08 F250 FX4 PSD CC. Great truck so far. Previously owned an '04 F150 SC Lariat. So been a member of the site for a while, but somewhat inactive over the last couple years. Glad to be back, tons of great info on the SDs in general and the 6.4L. Glad to be back in the mix.

Hello. I'm a new guy. I'm looking to buy an F350 V10 to haul a fith wheel around the country. I'm retired (thank God) and my wife will soon be. We've been RV'ers for almost 40 years and are now going to sell the house and go fulltime traveling. After many weeks of research, I've decided to get the V10. I'm sure it will be more than adequate for our needs.
See ya down the road.
Ron

F350-6 Thanks for the welcome. And, more importantly, THANK YOU for your service. I was in the Navy from '61-'68. Was going to make it a career but Vietnam interferred with those plans.........

Hello!

Hi Everyone!

I am a new user to the forum. I am currently in search of a tow vehicle for our new travel trailer. We came across a 2003 F250 with a 4.10 rear and was surprised that it could only tow a max of 8400lbs. Our trailer's max weight is 7550lbs which puts us at 90% of our max weight. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Thanks,

Rick

Wink On the Edge...

Hi Folks,

Been driving and modifying an '07 Ranger 4X4 for 2 years - ran out of things to do without a major change. Got the Super Duty bug a few weeks ago - wife wants to spend entire weekends on the beach that we frequent by day with the Ranger. Super Duty + slide in camper + wheels and tires = happy wife! Wake me up... wake me up!

Going to test drive an '09 extended cab and a crew cab on Saturday with the wife. I'll update after the test...

Regards,

Jim D

Hello all, I joined FTE a few months ago. I just upgraded from a 2003 Ranger to a 2003 F-250 SD XLT 5.4L Auto, with 82,000 miles. Just picked it up from the dealership tonight. I can't wait to put it to work & make some money with it.
