2004 F-250 PSD is starting off with a positive reputation.
Hi,

I am from Salt Lake City not new too forums but new to this one. I have been lurking here for a few months since I bought the truck in Sept. 08. I purchased the 2004 SuperDuty PSD Extended Cab short Box to pull our 4 wheelers: 2 2008 Rancher 420's ES and for camping and general use around the house/yard. We are planning on a 25" travel trailer here very shortly also (Other reason for purchase of PSD). previous rides, 2002 Jeep Overland and 2001 Toyota Tacoma TRD both lifted, etc. Just looking for a good board with lots of information

Wow, lots of new guys, and even a new sponsor all saying hello in the last few days. Welcome to FTE. I notice many of you still are sitting at a post count of 1. Don't be shy. Most of you have been snooping around FTE for a while, so you already know you won't be treated bad for jumping in and asking questions.

Also, just in case you stopped at the Super Duty section, make sure you scroll down the main forum listing. There's lots more sections there that are specific to your diesel or gas engine, towing, general stuff, and even regional chapters where you might find fellow members close to you. Make sure you stop in and say hello down there too.

Thanks for chiming in Chris!

Definitely, "spread the love around" here at FTE - you might have no idea what you know that can help out someone else here.

Welcome to FTE. Probably a combination of both. Just be warned, when you use the search function, you'll likely find other things you'll start reading, then if you're like me, get side tracked and start searching something else unrelated to your current question, just to read up on things.

In addition to the super duty section here, we also have engine specific sections further down the main forum listing. You can read up on things here, as well as down in the other sections. The 72-79 F series trucks will probably be more useful for your 77 since more users down there are familar with that particular truck. On the 04, check out things here, or if it's engine related, down in the 03-07 6.0 diesel section. Each section has a "search this forum" button in the upper right corner so you're only searching that particular section of FTE.

Just don't be shy about asking questions or chiming in on a thread. We were all new at one time.

Took the plunge!

Just upgraded from an '02 F150 King Ranch to an '06 F250 Lariat. This is my first diesel and I can't wait to get the 5th hitch installed so we can start pulling our Rockwood 8283SS. I've been signed up for awhile and posted some questions about my F150 in the past. I hope to get the same help from those on the SD forum.
