Another FNG here. Just purchased my third Ford truck yesterday and am not really up to speed on it yet. Came here through a keyword search and had found the answer to both my questions in the first five minutes. Currently I own a '98 F-150 excab 4x4 w/4.6 with 238,000 miles on it, a '99 expedition eddie bauer w/5.4, and the latest purchase is a '99 f-250 excab w/7.3 PSD.

The F-150 is my work truck and I drive the bejesus out of it, I work heavy construction so the truck does as well. Bought the expedition to pull our camper, bought a new camper this last year and the expedition just wasn't enough truck for the much larger camper hence the recent purchase of the F-250. This added to the 94 Z-71 with a SAS'd 60 and 12" lift with 38s, and the wifes new hemi Durango and my pole barn is filling up. I guess I just get attached to my trucks and can't seem to let them go.

Newb to FTE

Hello all. Currently piloting an '06 F-350 6.0 FX4 Crew Cab Long Bed Lariat and still fairly satisfied. Truck looks even better after about $8,500.00 worth of body work after a drunk 16 year old girl backed down the street and took out the driver side. My truck currently has about 162K on the ticker with plenty of things replaced and repaired. So far it's received 2 head gaskets jobs, one turbo, 6 injectors, t-coupling, oil pump, two water pumps, guage cluster, 2 egr cooler jobs, and numerous other small jobs. I honestly like the way these trucks look better than the newer models. At some point in time I'll get something else but I just can't seem to kill it! I primarily use it haul an arsenol of trailers in and out of the oil and gas fields of TX, CO, and NM. Looking forward to alot of good information and throwing on a few more thousand miles.

Hey there, I've been one of the lurkers, been reading a ton of posts and articles, I really enjoy it here and I figure its time to come out of hiding.

My girlfriend has spoiled me recently with the purchase of a 2005 F250 SD, 6.0L PSD, Lariat CC.

I build pools for a living, so it sure will be put to work, hauling bobcats\excavators\cement & mixer.

I look forward to posting now and finally talking back to all the people I've been snooping in on :P

Thanks to the higher ups for a great community!

Hello all, I just found this forum and it looks like there is a lot of good info here. I just bought a 2004 F-350 Lariat CC V10 long bed with 25,000 miles on it to replace my 06 F-150, just couldnt bring myself to buy new even with the incentives they have now. I really like this truck so far but its not the easiest ride to find a parking place for. Looking forward to taking part in this forum.

Howdy all,
I've been hanging around these forums for awhile now, mostly in the Bronco forums. My 92 Bronco 5.8L was stolen 12/28 and found a week later stripped of everything leaving only a shell.
I've replaced it with a 2003 F-250 V-10 Super Duty Supercab with 24,000 miles that I found for 12K. I love the power and smoothness of the engine. Its going to make pulling my 28' Rockwood travel trailer much easier than it was with the Bronco. I think the long wheelbase will make a big differance compared to the short wheelbase of the Bronco when it comes to towing.

Howdy from Fort Worth, TX

Just joined tonight as I just bought a blue with gray trim and interior 2006 F 250 6.0 Thursday night. I am a classic car and muscle car collector so I needed something to tow a new enclosed trailer when I get it in a month or so.

Will post photos soon and try to stop by every night to learn more about the truck. Drove it 165 miles from the Dealer in Rockdale Tx to Fort Worth and it was awesome.

Getting the bed sprayed with Line Ex and a bed cover plus a bed mat. Buying other goodies and trim so when it is outfitted I will post photos.

Back Soon
