Another newb

Hello all.
Ive been Lurking for a year. I found the site after buying a 06' F-250 with a V-10 and 4.30 gears....I didn't know the gears when I bought it but this site helped me figure it out. As well with the slow fill gas tank issue. As a new to Ford trucks owner this site has been a great help.
Thanks.

Hey, I'm new, and I'm about to hit the tech questions, but I wanted to say howdy first! Just purchased a '99 F250 SD, and it has some issues I need to resolve to pass state inspection. So here I am!

Talking New Member

Just a note to intro meself to the members here. A lot of my vitals you can pull off of my profile. Seeing as I am on the road a lot I won't be able to be on here as much as I'd like but when I'm home; here I'll be.
My 250 SD is pretty boring compared to many of the rigs on here, but I love her anyway. Only mod made is the addition of an K&N air filter and oil filter. She's big, Crew Cab, long bed, 4X4, V-10, Lariat. Bought her new and have put 172,963 miles on her. Replaced one hub, (DS Front), low speed idle motor, both right side rotors, battery, and at least 432 tanks of fuel. Electric Red (when clean) with the leather interior. Now its getting to the point to do some serious maintenance on her. Replace the differential fluids, powers steering fluid and filter. Also the transfer case. Looking at using Amsoil and motorkote in all them. I am always open to suggestions and good advice.

Howdy all....

I just registered, and I'm looking forward to being a part of the forum! I just purchased a 2008 F350 6.4L PS to replace my 2003 Chevy Duramax (lurking in the background...).

I've barely driven it, but so far, I like it a lot. I wish there was a legal fix for all the EPA stuff -- the fuel economy is pretty dismal compared with my 2003 Duramax. I really like the F350, though, and look forward to learning more!

2000 F250 CC 4x4 XLT New Owner

Hi all,

I'm a long time FTE member and an even longer Ford truck owner. From an estate, we just purchased a 2000 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 XLT V10 with 67k on it. It's quite a change from our present '71 F100 and '56 F100.
