New

I have recently acquired my F100 from my Grandfather. He acquired it from his father, who purchased it around the time he retired from Ford. I'm just here to learn more about it and keep this baby running for years to come.

Hey Guys...

Hey guys this is Jordan. I have a 2001 Ford Excursion limited 2 wheel drive with a 5.4 V8. It is a beautiful candy apple red with gold trim and of course because I live in Texas it has a really big Ranch Hand. The truck has 234000 miles on it and still runs like a brand new engine. Albeit the suspension is another story with almost all of it needing to be replaced. I am an IT technical analyst for the miner Corporation however I still dabble a little bit here and there in the automotive industry.

Hey all new dude here.. just picked up my first Ford truck.. its a 90 F250.. im pretty excited to have a truck again.. I had a 2001 Dodge ram which i just recently gave to my son.. and regretted it from day 1 when i went to buy a new water heater... and had to call him..
I just recently retired from the Air Force now that I have a real job only working 8 hours a day I find myself a little bored.. so I figured PROJECT!
Anyway.. truck is amazing shape I bought it for 500 bucks while I was at a neighbors 4th of July party. Its got engine issues which I knew about. As soon as I bought it I found this site. Before I even had the title in hand I found out so much about this truck. From what I have seen so far there are some smart people on this site.. Cant wait to get started.. See ya in the forums!! (P.S. I know my user name doesnt really fit..)

Just got done with 2005 5.4 f150. Time for all the time saving tips. 1. Remove solinods valve covers come out so easy. 2 passenger side valve cover use ground strap to lift back to remove. First take bolt to back fire wall out. Tide harness torward battery area. Ac not messed with at all. Remove bolts connectors to pcm its easy. Lots of room after that. Drivers side remove power steering pully the ony two front bolts and one behind pully. Bend bracket towards steering shaft. Remove solinod. Un plug brake booster line ect easy to remove with wire placed on stud on cover to keep valve cover lift at rear to remove. Replaced everything timing and as Jasper engines installed high volume oil pump. Almost nothing ticks but injectors. Saveca lot of time rather than leaving stuff in the way like solenoid s for phasers.

Hey guys! I have been driving Rangers my entire life and I decided I needed something to tow with so I picked up my first full size truck. I have a 1990 F-250 4x4. It needs a lot of work but it is coming along.

Exclamation What's Your Favorite Honda?

Hey everyone! Name's Wallett and I'm really new to this thread! So I wanted to know what your favorite Honda was!

...Wait. Wrong forum? Oops!

Well... Ignore that last question, then!

So, a little bit about me, I have been in love with and specifically their line of trucks for years. My dad (regrettably) owned a Chevy for many years, but I've always been drawn toward Ford. I love the American made reliability that is Ford over the sleekness of Chevy. And don't get me started on foreign models (sorry, Honda lovers... Okay, not really). There's one slight predicament... My uncle's brother-in-law is a Ford Master Mechanic. And my uncle is fairly knowledgeable on engines of all types. I, however, am not. Well, yet, anyway.

That's where you come in, my fellow Ford Truck Enthusiasts! You see, I've owned only one Ford in my life (1997 Ford Explorer). And I've had the disdain of owning or driving several other makes over the years (currently a Dodge). But I'm looking for a good truck. A better truck. So, what I really want to know is... What is your favorite Ford Truck (Make/Model/Year)? And why?

Looking forward to getting to know all you lovely Ford Truck owners and make good decisions from here on out!

Oh, and in case you haven't figured it out yet, I can be a bit on the sarcastic side.

Just joined!!!!!

Just joined because I went to Long Island to visit a great friend and I pulled up to his house and there was something under a cover in the driveway with a sign on it...I said Bat your not selling her!!! He said yes...Long story short: I bought the Red 1956 Ford F-100 . The truck added 431 miles on it since Bat bought it in 2001.. Had it shipped to my home in FL.. Not a show truck but in great shape with lots of extras..Will be driven and enjoyed not a trailer queen..
Hello all.............

Never had a Ford truck, but with some help from the members here I've determined that Dad's old truck was a '66. I'm planning on building a tribute, so the search begins!

I do drive a Mustang though.
