Jim F-1 Thanks for lettin' me in!
Hey Guys, Just picked up a beat up 49 F-1 farm truck. I'm in the process of making it road worthy [again] with little on no attention to appearance. I've already gained a ton of knowledge here from referencing old threads.
I spent last week fixing a ton of stuff and today we tackle the king pins...[ugh]
I'm sure you'll see me here and there asking question that have probably been asked and answered a thousand times...
Oh yeah, I'm in Pittsfield Ma. Jim

New here from Watertown NY!!
Hello everybody, my names Johnny. I have an 02 f-150 supercrew 5.4 lariat. I'm from northern NY where rust eats vehicles alive, but I'm lucky enough to be in a family that owns a very reputable Ziebart that I manage, and a truck from Oklahoma. It needs some work, so it's easy to say I'm glad to have found this little community of ford truck enthusiasts. Looking forward to working with everyone in both getting assistance and advice, as well as giving it.

site usage
I was a member years ago/ lost internet...too much damage to computer through dial-up line. I'm back with satellite hook-up, but the site seems much harder to navigate. How do I shut off the request to allow double-click to monitor(track) me through the site? Every time I go to a new page, I have to tell double-click no TWICE to access the page. Also I can't seem to find the Ranger section, have a new to me 94 4X4 110K that will need more work than I planned but I am going to make it into a nice truck before I get done. Also have a 07 Explorer Sport Track LTD 4X4 109K....found that site and will be going to dealer for a couple service bulletin repairs. Thanks. Just gave up on 95 Ranger Splash 1 wheel drive 350K Bought with 30K. Thanks for still being online, will figure this out someday, CBX

I have an '01 F-150 SC, 5.4L, 2wd (but with limited slip). Bought it new back in '01, and just hit 90k miles on it. Fuel pump had to be replaced last week, along with the belt tensioner (the squeal at startup was killing me!)
Anyway, its been a good truck, but the stupid steering wheel was all rotted to heck. So I picked up a Navigator steering wheel, with the controls and wood upper/lower sections, to replace it.... and stumbled on here while researching how the heck to do this swap and still have my cruise control work. :-)
Anyway, always looking for advice. As she gets older, more age related issues keep cropping up, but that's expected. My first Ford truck - and its been a real pleasure having it. Until the fuel pump issue last week, its never stranded me. Anyway, doing a bit of maintenance beats having a car payment!

Hi, I'm in Australia and I'm researching Dentside F100s. I probably won't buy one for a while, so I'll just be on here lurking and asking questions. I'm hoping to get a short wheelbase effie with a 302 on straight LPG and probably a trayback. It's all a while off yet, just doing my homework.
