New Guy looking at a 97 F350 Trition V10
Hey there,
My one & only F150 was given to me as a project & traded away prior to completion. However, I'm jumping back in to Ford truckville soon.
Heading to check out an older shuttle bus tomorrow sporting a Triton V10.
it's got 197k
Any pointers on what to look for? Hoping to pick your brains & show the project progress along the way.
~Jesse

New here
Hello all, and thank you for all the previous and future help. Iv always lurked this forum when I needed an answer and usually got it. Im not too sure exactly what to say here but, I'm 19 drive a 2000 F250 SD xl with 35's and a 5.4 (for now). Iv owned my truck for about 3 years. I was always a down talker of fords, but when I saw my truck in a lot I fell in love. Ever sense then I haven't been more please with a make of a vehicle. The truck is my baby and is always kept up to date as far as maintenance. Although I have some big plans with it in the future and came here to kinda read up and learn everything I possibly can. So with that being said, thanks again! -Tyler

Hello from the Pacific North West. I've gotten some great info here the past few weeks while debating on picking up, and finally getting my 76 F250 4x4. I'm sure I'll be on here picking brains in the next few days. I need to get a picture of my steering box to see if I can figure out what brand it is, as I've read about Ford's being 3 bolt yet mine has 4. I'll obviously post more info in the proper section. I'm finding that I'm going to have fun figuring out some of the "mod's" that have been done by previous owners, like the kid I bought her from ran the exaust pipes between the rear springs and bump stops, and deciding if I want to correct them. The 1 bonus is she is sitting on 35x12.50's, but someone got creative with a custom camo paint job.

New member on FTE
Hello folks, been visiting FTE for several years now and decided to join.
Been driving mostly Ford trucks since early in my driving career. I have owned 2 rangers, 3gen 4's, 3gen 5's, 1gen 6, 1gen 7, 1gen 8, and most recently a gen9 pickup. I especially miss "ole blue," 1969 Farm & Ranch Special I had in high school-many many good times!
Currently own "hiccup," 1990 f-250 4x4 w/4.9 I6 ZF5OD(all stock for now) & "grape ape," 1995 f-150 4x2, also w/4.9 I6 and M5OD.
Hiccup was my first resurrection project. It sat in tall weeds next to a barn for 8yrs before I got it. Tried to buy it last 3 of those years. I think po finally sold it to me out of annoyance haha. FTE was HUGELY helpful in bringing hiccup back to life
Some time in the future I will explain the "hiccup" nickname-was heck of an adventure making that truck road worthy again and now I am quite fond of it, warts and all (-;
Grape ape is currently my daily work horse; 180,000+miles and still running strong!
All for now, thanks to all who did not know they were helping me last few years, hopefully I can pay it forward
PS, I am approx 85 miles from KC MO.
Keep your powder dry. . .

Greetings to all from Frankenduty00,
Ford guy from a ways back now trying this Forum thingy! My project is a 2000 250SD4X with the 5.4V8! It was used hard by a contractor so lots of cleanup was done and upgrades in progress. I call it Frankenduty because I am trying to use parts from other years to make it a unique machine and have some fun. Mods to date are direct fit, 2012 bed complete, 2002/03 mirrors, 2003 headlights, Jasper reman 5.4 motor with Accel coils,
Bosch plugs, Magnaflow exhaust, Fleet grade brakes and shocks. Looking to attempt 05 or later stock wheels.
Thanks for reading my post!

I'll go for it here then!
My name is Jeremy, I'm a 26 year old Archaeologist for the Department of State in Florida. I used to drive a Chevy Cobalt, but the cam shaft ground the bearings to dust and I was in trouble without a car.
A friend of mine told me he could have the truck in his back yard for $50 if I could get it to run. Lo and behold it was a 88 F150 Custom with my favorite motor of all time, the Straight 6 300. So Here I am with a very run down truck that I love to death and am restoring as I drive it. It has 95k miles on it and runs like a dream despite sitting for 3-4 years. I've had it less than a month and came here hoping to expand my horizons and keep this amazing truck running for 200k more miles.

New to the forum but not new to owning vehicles to spend copius amounts of time and money on. Gotta like that! I've been into hot rods and bikes all of my life thus far. My Dad has always owned an F series truck that I've used as a parts chaser but aside from my Model A pickup, I've never had one myself untill recently. On my latest trip to get warmed up by visiting AZ, my wife and I noticed a young fella and his girlfriend cruising through Cave Creek in a '69 Camper Special. She was a cream puff and it had a For Sale sign in the rear window. Like any good hot rodder, we told him to "pull it over"! With a handful of 20's we bought in from his Gramps the next day in the parking lot of a local "Jack In The Box". We are gonna tidy it up a little and drive the wheels off it cuz it runs like a swiss watch!

New E350 camper owner in France
Hi everybody,
I'm a new owner of a '89 Shasta Ford E350 camper in France, and looking for infos about that magic vehicule .
I'm seen as an E.T here and that's lot of fun. But the important point is that I did want an american camper as it's lot better than europeans one (and cheaper too !).
Best regards,
Fred
