Smile Ford Forever C700 1955

Hi all
I have been a ford man all my life.

I have had a 1981 Escort, a 84 merc topez, 84 Tbird turbo coupe, 99 merc sable, 2011 Edge.

Trucks I have had 77 ford f 150 explorer 4x4, 78 150, 85 ranger 4x4, 91 ranger 4x4, 94 f 150 4x4, 96 f250 XLT 4x4 powerstroke, 2016 f250 4x4 lariat.

in 2015 I purchased a 1968 mustang coupe 289 auto in nice shape and built up a 302 for in it. it will now run 13.10 sec 1/4 mile

The reason for joining this group is my latest purchase.
A 1955 ford c700 big job according to the serial number c70z5h***** it came with a 272 y block 122 hp @3600 rpm, 5 speed overdrive tranny. im hoping this may be a good source for some info..

Hello all,
I just picked up a 68 F100 Ranger that I'm stoked about. It's a project, but I think it has good bones. It has PS/PB/and A/C. It has a 390 with a C6 off a 69 F100. I plan on doing most to all of the drivetrain and then have it refinished.

Hi.

I think I have already signed up, but I couldn't get my email or passwords to work.... so just in case:

I am near Pittsburgh.
I have an old galaxie, an old f-100, a newer Fusion, and two older motorcycles.

Howdy! New member here.

I purchased a 72 F100 SWB almost 17 years ago and it's been sitting in a field at a friends house since I purchased it. The truck is solid and should be a blast to drive. It is a project that my son and I have been anxiously waiting to build for many years.
We recently moved to a new home that has a 30' X 30' shop, so we now have the room to do the build and not tick momma off because we left all of the parts strewn around the garage.
The plan is to build a moderate street truck that we can take to local shows and cruises.

New User. 2nd owner of a 1983 F250 with a 460, 92K miles, and lots of questions as I attempt a gradual return to reliability. Cheers

Hi all,

New member but, I have been roaming around the 1987-1996 F Series section of the forums for a while now just never made an account.

Purchased a 95 f150 5.0 302 when I turned 16, five years ago, now has 204,000 Miles on her still running strong. 31x10.5x15 tires with 3.08 rear gears.

Mods done:
6 litre tune up, k&n air filter, 460 intake tube, and hooker long tube headers to a 2.5in y-pipe then 3in pipe back to a thrush muffler, have not finished the tailpipes yet.

Hello Everyone!

Hello my name is Bucky I've had my 02 Explorer EB 4.6l 2V SOHC for about 3yrs. I've done a few basic minor upgrades such as Magnaflow exaust, K&N intake, Trick Flow throttle body, and Accel Super Coils. It's my 1st Ford and overall she's been pretty good to me. That's not to say I have haven't had a few issues along the way. That's where sites like this one have proven themselves to be an essential, invaluable resource to people like me who have the courage to DIY, but want to do so armed with as much knowledge and information as possible. Whenever I plan on doing any work on my EB, before I even pop the hood I come here 1st. On behalf of myself an DC I'm sure many other DIYers THANK YOU. I only hope that now that I'm becoming more familiar with the 4.6 I can pay it forward and contribute to the wealth of information on this site and maybe be able to help someone else as I have been helped so many times.
