Hello All
Hey there everyone, I'm Gordy from Chi-troit Michi-anna. I have a 91 F150 XLT lariat, "North Land" edition, has 4.9 aod.2 wd I just got from po that didn't care much for it or ? is just as broke as I am It's body is rustier than all get-out and is in serious need of maintenance, It starts, runs goes down the road, stops and comes back ! I can't wait to get a wrench on it, just wish I had cash to make it happen but there's still a lot I can do for nothing but time and effort. This is my 3rd 91, the first got repo back in 95, the second I had to sell back in the market crash of 08 to keep from becoming homeless, I ain't gonna lie, I cried both times.
My Dad's truck
My Dad recently gave me his 69 F-250 2WD since he did not want to drive it anymore due to his age. It's not fancy, but it's straight and has about 85000 on it. The truck came with a 360ci and a 4 speed. Growing up we used it to haul a 9.5 foot camper and pulled a 14 foot boat behind it on lots of fishing trips. There were usually 3 of us in the cab and 2 in the camper. There was one summer we took the truck and camper to Disneyland. What an adventure that was!!
As Dad got older and found it increasingly difficult to handle the truck, my brother and I added power steering and power brakes. What a difference that made! I am in the process of doing some much needed maintenance and have run into a problem, but I will discuss that in the appropriate forum.
Old iron is fun to work on; I have some IH iron as well, but that's for a different forum.

Hello From VA
Hello everyone! Been lurking here for a few years and decided to sign up. This is best Ford truck site I've found by far. I have two older trucks. A 89 F150 4x4, my trusty rusty work horse and a 77 F100 Ranger Flareside that's my toy. I've been getting it back into shape the last couple of years. Glad to be here and excited about finally getting to drive my 77!
First, I'd like to say good morning on behalf of all us up here in The Great White North!!
Figured I should stop by here first and say hi! Like a lot of other folks on here, long time lurker, finally decided to join! Owned and driven Fords all my life (with some other brands tossed in here and there to shake things up a bit). This is usually my go to spot for any information I need! Currently driving around in a 1986 F-150, and loving it! Happy to be joining your family!
Cheers!

Hello my name is Ben, I have always preferred Ford trucks to any other. I joined this site to have a place to talk about and ask questions about anything I might need to know about my 2005 XLT 4X4 Ranger. This is my 5th or 6th Ford truck. I have tried other trucks, Chevy ( Terrible! ) and Dodge ( Also Terrible! ) Ford has always been top notch. Please forgive me for straying.
My daughter seems to have taken all of my time and any spare cash I've had up to this point, but it's worth it, now she's gone off into life as a beautiful lady, ol dad is broke and bored, wife passed 10 years ago, I'm back with my truelove these fire breathing, knuckle busting critters called Ford pickups !

Hello all,
I've been on this site so many times over the last couple of years, it has helped
me on several occasions. I drive a 2010 F150 XL 4x4 with the 5.4 L.
I actually bought it used from the Ford dealer almost a year ago. The truck was Ford certified and I also purchased the extended bumper to bumper warranty.
I haven't done anything to the truck, it's all stock. I recently started having a issue at start up and got a "cam shaft position sensor" error. That's what I'm researching now, but as I understand this isn't where I post or ask questions.
Not really sure how to navigate through and post in the forums just yet, but i'll figure it out.

Gotta start somewhere...
I'm Dan, from Nashville TN - I've been a Ford guy since I started driving - I've been through a few of them.
My first car was a 1975 Ford Elite - green, 351w. beautiful. unfortunately I was young and didn't know what I had, so when the motor blew I sold it for almost nothing to have it removed from my yard. Someday I'll find her....
A few years later I had a 1976 Elite, a 1980 Tbird, and then a 96 T-bird. Then about 2 years ago I bought my first truck, a 79 F-150 custom. It was rough but I fell in love with it...it had character, you know? All the dents and holes had stories... Then about a month ago I finally decided the 79 was too rough to do what I wanted to do with it. So I sold it for 1350 and bought a 1976 f-150 custom for 1100 bucks. Had to drive it 100 miles on the interstate to get her home, and she did great. I've spent the last week fixing some issues. brakes, wheels, tires, etc. Hoping to rebuild the carb this week. Bought the kit last night. Coming here because I know I'll have dozens of questions along the way. Going to be the first truck I've tried to actually put some work into. Thanks in advance for all your advice. --Dan

Hello,
I am new to this forum and very new to Fords. I have been a life long Chevy driver. I purchased a 2011 F250 King Ranch today and as I was driving home the engine light came on. Now I have to jump over the the technical threads to figure out what is going on. I hope to learn about Ford Super Duty Trucks here. Looking forward to speaking with all of you.
