for trucks-own 2002 extend cab,XLLT, short bed, 7.3 powerstroke, was purchased new to pull short fifth wheel camper, now spends most of it's time in storage, currently with 34,000 miles. currently on my 5th Ranger XLT extend cab, 4X4, 5 spd manual, 4.0, 4:10 gears, with off road package, black on black. Currently showing 164,000 miles, my daily driver. Both trucks run with mobil 1 engine oil, trany oil and rear axle lube. No oil leaks, no oil usage or smoking. Great trucks, did install oversized alloy rear axle gear cover for better cooling and larger lube capacity...My play car is a 1993 ruby red 40th anniversary corvette, with wife now driving a new Toyota Avalon limited, replacing my 2006 Lincoln LX. Ford has to figure out how to get leg room in the back seat, Toyota has...
Hope the forum will help me keep my cherrised Ranger running for many more years, or until Ford decides to re-introduce the Ranger again. I'm a

hi and thanks again
I'm retired auto tech of this year I own a 1958 f100 panel was given to me by father in law back in 1976 have never been able to fix like I wanted so this year now that I'm retired I hope to give it the once over I just got back from sc and bought a 2005 p71 and will be stripping it to marry it to my 58 already have the crossmember installed in f100 frame and now time to add all the rest.but I had to get a p71 never been so ready to do this after all these years. part reason so long to fix is because passed away wife spent the night in the truck in the wood the night that camile hit gulf coast. they were inland about 10 miles from coast.so it got pretty rough. she never liked it since then hence the delay.
new guy
How's it going? I just joined this sight yesterday I won't be able to contribute much as far as knowledge but will learn a lot from you guys. I'm currently in the process of buying a F350 with either the Bullet Proof 7.3 or the 6.0 I'm kinda leading towards the 7.3 as I love the sound and there are less emissions to deal with. So I can't wait to read up on both engines. What would be considered to many miles for either engine?
96 f350 longbed crewcab 4x4
hello all! Just purchased my 2nd obs truck .First was a 97 f350 crewcab dually longbed powerstroke 5 speed 80,000 miles, and now iv purchased a 96 f350 4door longbed 4x4 460 automatic. I just love these trucks picked this one up in Arizona no rust beautiful colonial white paint who ever owned this one took extremely good care of it . the bad is it has 200,000 miles on it but you cant tell its super clean, still has the original frame stickers on it . So clean you could eat off the exhaust . The bad, its got a blown headgasket. Bought a mass air convbersion kit from fiveology racing and picked up a low mileage 460 out of a 97 motorhome , engine should be here on Wednesday .thanks for letting me join. army navy vet 89 to 93, 63 bravo and seebee construction builder
Its been a while and 120K since I purchased my 2010 F150XLT and I am looking to move up to an F350 Lariat. Does anyone know if there is a way to look up X-pricing by VIN? Edmunds seems to get you close on whats on the Dealer Invoice but with some of the discounts out there if X plan is close to dealer invoice, I am thinking I am better off just taking the dealer discounts? I just want to know what I should expect from Xplan pricing.
Newbie here
We just got a 2015 F-150 Xl supercab 4x2. We never realized how exspensive trucks cost but needed one to pull our 27 ft travel travel. It is a base model so I have lots of additions I was to add. First being wheels. So with that said what is the largest tire I can put on this truck with 17 rims?
Howdy!
Just a little into.

New 86 F150 owner
Hey there! My name is Joey and this is the first time I am using forums to see what others have experienced. I just bought a 86 F150 with the 302 and am having some troubles. Hopefully I will be able to find my answers from someone else who has had the same troubles. If not I will wait my turn to start asking questions. Hope everyone is having a good day and finding all their answers!!
